Accessibility

Buckden House was transformed into an Outdoor Education Centre in the 1970s. There are uneven floors and narrow corridors. However, we do have provision for individuals and groups that have special needs, within the centre and for activities.

We have a commitment to making residential experiences as available as possible to all. We have a ground floor accessible room with en-suite facilities with an adjacent carer’s room. In addition, in the annexe area, we have an accessible toilet and shower with wide opening door and pull down seat for ease of use.

Many activities can be tailored to suit the particular needs of each individual or group. Specifically, there is wheelchair access to our archery area and High Ropes course. Please contact us to discuss your specific requirements.
