Village Studies

This activity takes place around the thousand year old village of Buckden.

Usually led by visiting staff, the route stops at features of interest covering three key subjects: the water cycle and water use, physical geography, and local history from Romans times to the present day.

A valuable addition to the programme particularly for schools studying contrasting locations. Also a chance for pupils from urban environments to gain a better understanding of the life of the countryside and living in a National Park.
