Our journey time from the Bradford Leeds conurbation is roughly two hours, from Manchester and the West Pennines around three. Our position is nearly equidistant between the M6 and the A1, with the A65 and A59 being the main routes towards us from either direction.

It is best for coaches to approach Buckden House from the South as the road over from Wensleydale is not suitable for long vehicles.

The Centre is easily located; as the old manor house it is in the centre of the village! The entrance is on the right immediately after a hump backed bridge; wooden gates, a cattle grid, and a sign all mark the way in for visitors.

There is not room for coaches in the grounds! The best method is to turn around in the large car park at the edge of the village (on the right beyond the green) and pull in next to Buckden House on a side road a few metres away from the main gate. We recommend that all groups arrive through the main gates, and arrange to be met at the front door.
